I painted this portrait of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, because she is one of my heroes. As Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, she has stood up for the rights of women and minorities over and over again. The portrait is painting over one of her famous dissents, in the Burwell vs. Hobby Lobby Stores case.
